An Exercise Physiologist is an allied health professional with university qualifications in the science of movement and exercise prescription. At Aspire Health & Injury Clinic, our Exercise Physiologists specialise in using safe, evidence-based exercise to prevent and manage a wide range of health conditions—such as musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, diabetes, heart disease, and mental health conditions.
We design personalised programs tailored to your individual goals and medical needs, whether you're recovering from injury, managing a chronic condition, or looking to improve your overall function and well-being. Our approach focuses on long-term results through education, support, and ongoing guidance—helping you move better, feel stronger, and live healthier.
At Aspire Health & Injury Clinic, we know how much a workplace injury or car accident can impact ones livelihood and return to work.
We not only provide clients with exercise prescription and guidance, but also actively liaise with all parties involved in the claim to ensure the best return to work/life outcome is achieved.
This involves attending medical case conferences with treating doctors, specialists, other health practitioners.
We also ensure to work with insurers and employers, providing detailed updates and reports on progress and the plan to assist the injured person with their recovery.
Our team of experienced Exercise Physiologists have extensive experience working within the compensable injury space (Workers Compensation and CTP), as well as within Medicare and Private health.
When referred by your GP through a management care plan, your Exercise Physiology sessions can be rebated through Medicare for up to 5 visits per calander year.
We also work with all major private health insurers which offer exercise physiology under their policies. Please see your specific insurer policy for information regarding rebates on Exercise Physiology services.
All clients who engage with Aspire Health & Injury Clinic will be provided with a specialised exercise program.
Clients will be added to an Exercise Prescription application, which will allow them to view their exercises and add notes regarding each particular exercise session.
The treating practitioner will be able to also track progress and engagement in these sessions through the use of the software to ensure clients are managing with their exercise program.
We ensure your exercise program is tailored to your health and injury needs, ensuring you achieve the best possible outcome at our injury clinic, or via our mobile exercise physiology service.
